Grass fed filet mignon steak with a balsamic glaze, Asparagus and potatoes

Balsamic Glazed Filet Mignon


  • 2 Filet Mignon
  • Black Pepper and Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Organic Red Wine


Prepare the steak by adding salt and black pepper to both sides. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the filet mignon on the hot pan and cook for one minute on each side or until brown. Reduce the heat to medium-low then add balsamic vinegar and red wine. Cover the pan and cook each side for about four to five minutes (or to your preference) while basting the sauce onto the meat. Remove the filet mignon and enjoy!
